What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information for things like shopping carts, and provide anonymised tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics to help try and improve the website.  The vast majority of websites use cookies and tracking technologies.

What cookies does Alfie use?

At Alfiesoft we use cookies in two ways. On our corporate website (www.alfiecloud.com), we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregated usage data to help us understand how our website is used and improve its performance.

On our assessment website my.alfiecloud.com we use cookies to identify you and save your preferences when you are taking assessments and administering tests.

We don’t sell the information collected by cookies, nor do we disclose the information to third parties, except where required by law (for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies).

How do I remove cookies?

As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others.

If you don’t want us to place cookies on your computer then there are a number of ways you can opt out – setting your browser either to reject all cookies, to only allow “trusted” sites to set them, or to accept only those cookies from those websites which you are currently on.

The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. We suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which gives you detailed step by step guidance on how to control and delete cookies depending on your browser type. You can then adjust your browser settings to your preferred level of protection.
